Nigerian Artists Shine at 2024 NAACP Image Awards: Davido, Tems, and Lojay Among Winners

At the 2024 NAACP Image Awards, held virtually on Monday, March 11 at naacpimageawards.net, several top Nigerian artists took home prestigious awards.

Tems emerged victorious, securing the Outstanding International Song award for her track ‘Me & U.’

Davido and Lojay also found themselves among the awardees, recognized for their collaboration with Chris Brown on the hit song ‘Sensational,’ which clinched the Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration (contemporary) award.

The biggest winners of the night, however, were Chris Brown and Victoria Monét, each walking away with two awards. Brown snagged the Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration (contemporary) for ‘Sensational’ (featuring Davido & Lojay) and the Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration (traditional) for his featured role on Ciara’s ‘How We Roll.’

Monét’s outstanding achievements were recognized with awards for Outstanding Album and Outstanding New Artist, both for ‘Jaguar II.’
