The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a makeup artist and three additional individuals for allegedly orchestrating the abduction of Agnes Ogbeh.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, disclosed the arrest on Friday, March 22.

According to Hundeyin, the suspects include Margret Itodo (25 years old), Agnes Ogbeh (23 years old), Esther Anyanwu (24 years old), and Anthony Chinakwe (24 years old).

He explained that on March 19, 2024, Ogbeh, a resident of Akure, traveled to Lagos and was reportedly kidnapped there.

The family in Akure received a distressing video showing Agnes and another person bound, gagged, and surrounded by blood droplets.

He stated that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of N5m for Agnes’s release.

In response to the complaint, detectives swiftly raided the hideout where the suspects were living freely together.

It was discovered that Itodo, a professional makeup artist was hired to create a realistic video.
