Expressing his eagerness to get back on the pitch for his club, Boniface emphasized his determination to contribute to their success once again.
“The team did very well without me. When I came to Leverkusen, I said that I don’t look at rankings or individual scores,” Boniface was quoted by Sport Bild.
“Of course goals and assists are important, but the most important thing for me is to be able to help the team with my style of play and simply have fun. I really miss being on the pitch with my teammates and hope to be back soon.”
Throughout the season, Boniface has been a key player for Die Werkself, tallying an impressive record of 16 goals and eight assists in 23 appearances across all competitions.
