Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino expressed optimism regarding the club’s chances of clinching the Premier League title, affirming that they are making significant strides in the right direction and it’s only a matter of time before they achieve this milestone.

Pochettino underscored the importance of Chelsea’s strategy of nurturing young talent, acknowledging that it takes time for these players to develop. However, he expressed confidence in the abilities of the team’s young players and their potential to contribute to the club’s success.

Despite currently occupying the 11th position in the league table, Pochettino maintained that Chelsea is performing commendably, pointing out their recent achievements such as reaching the final of the Carabao Cup and advancing to the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

While acknowledging their current league position, Pochettino asserted that Chelsea should ideally be in the top four of the Premier League, highlighting his belief in the team’s capabilities to compete at a higher level.

“We understood very well what it means to change the direction of the club. Now it is entirely different.

“We want the best for the club, for the owners, for the players and for our fans,” said Pochettino at his pre-match interview ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Burnley on Saturday.

“Yes, one day we will win the Premier League.

“But if not, for sure another coaching staff will win it because this process needs to happen.”
