FG Announces 2 Days Holiday For Eid El-Fitr Celebrations | Daily Report Nigeria

The Federal Government has announced that April 9 and 10, 2024 will be public holidays to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on behalf of the Federal Government.

Tunji-Ojo congratulated Muslim faithful for successfully observing the holy month of Ramadan and encouraged them to practice the values of kindness, love, tolerance, peace, and compassion as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad.

He also urged Nigerians to unite and work towards achieving peace and oneness in the country.

The Minister wished everyone a happy Eid-el-Fitr celebration and prayed for Allah’s blessings upon Nigeria.
