BREAKING: Fire Engulfs Lagos Market | Daily Report Nigeria

A fire broke out at Dosunmu Market in the Lagos Island Local Government Area of Lagos State, engulfing a two-storey building.

It was gathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday around 11:10 am.

The Head of Public Education at the Lagos State Fire Service, Amodu Sjakiru confirmed the incident saying that the exact cause of the fire remains undetermined.

Sjakiru added that fire service personnel are currently on-site to prevent any additional damages.

He said:

“Fire service personnel are currently on the ground to stop the fire and stop any further casualties. The fire affected two-storey buildings. Details about the fire will be shared soon.”
