In a recent ruling, the Federal Capital Territory High Court imposed a N10 million fine on actress Halima Abubakar as compensation for publishing derogatory remarks about Apostle Johnson Suleman, the Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International.

Furthermore, the court issued an injunction, prohibiting Abubakar from making any additional defamatory statements against Suleman.

Justice Enobie Obanor stated that Abubakar had the opportunity to defend herself during the proceedings but failed to do so.
