Facing a four-count charge of Naira abuse brought against him by the anti-graft agency, Bobrisky pleaded guilty on April 5.

In her judgment delivered on Friday, Justice Awogboro emphasized the seriousness of mutilating Naira notes, stating that such acts tarnish the country’s image. She emphasized the need to put an end to such practices.

The judge concluded by sentencing Bobrisky to six months imprisonment, starting from the date of his remand, with no option of a fine.
