Tiwa Savage, the Afrobeats sensation, opened up about the inspiration behind her music career.

In a recent interview with MTV, the ‘Koroba’ singer revealed that her initial dream was to pursue acting. However, her path changed when she developed feelings for a man who was often in the company of musicians. This led her to shift her focus from acting to music, leaving her “first love” behind.

Tiwa Savage’s revelation sheds light on her journey into the music industry, offering insight into the personal experiences that influenced her career path.

Savage said, “I have always wanted to do acting. Acting was one of my first loves before music. I got into music because I had a crush on a guy and he was always around the musician so I said ‘yeah, forget acting and just go into music.’”

Additionally, Tiwa Savage recently announced the release date of her debut movie, ‘Water And Garri,’ scheduled for May 10, 2024, on Prime Video, showcasing her versatility across multiple entertainment platforms.
