American rapper Kanye West has made some bold claims about fellow rapper Drake, suggesting that the Canadian artist “signed his soul to the devil.”
West alleges that his fallout with Drake was due to Drake’s supposed allegiance to the devil, which contradicts Kanye’s representation of God. According to Kanye, this shift in allegiance led to their falling out.
Kanye West recently appeared on Future and Metro Boomin’s ‘Like That’ remix, a track he contributed to because he was “excited” about the idea of Drake being “eliminated” from the hip-hop scene.

In a recent episode of ‘The Download’ podcast, Kanye discussed his thoughts on Drake’s commercial success, suggesting that it was heavily influenced by Universal Music’s CEO, Lucian Grainge, who Kanye described as Drake’s “rich baby daddy.”
“It’s like he [Drake] signed his soul to the devil to not be cool with me. This is his job, to go against God.
“Pluto [Future] called me, I went to the studio and laid that [my verse on the remix]. Everybody was very, very excited about the elimination of Drake. Not excited — we was energized.”
“Drake has a rich baby daddy, named Lucian [Grainge] at Universal. He’s like, ‘My daddy controls the spins, my daddy got the DSPs,'” West stated during the podcast episode.
