Nigerian football star Victor Osimhen has shared who inspired him to model his game after Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.
The Super Eagles striker has often mentioned Drogba as his role model, but he recently revealed that it was the influence of his childhood community and passionate fans that led him to adopt Drogba’s style of play.
Victor Osimhen strength in hold-up play, aerial ability, and physicality on the pitch remind many fans of Drogba.

“The whole world knows that I am inspired by Didier Drogba,” he said, according to Il Matino.
“When I was a child, they introduced me to his [Drogba] style of football, the passionate fans, and then the whole community pushed me to follow him.
“And so, I started to take an interest in him, to watch many clips, and learn from his movements and integrate them into my way of playing.”
