President Bola Tinubu has made two key appointments to head important agencies.
Dr Innocent Bariate Barikor has been named Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA), while Prince Ebitimi Amgbare has been appointed Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA).
Barikor, Amgbare’s appointments were contained in a statement released on Friday by the President’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale.

According to it, Tinubu expects the New Appointees to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and service to the nation.

Barikor, an academic and politician, served in the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State.
Earlier, the President appointed renowned banker and businessman, Mr Jim Ovia, as Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), tasked with ensuring access to higher education and skills for Nigerian youths.
