Arsenal have officially secured their place in next season’s Champions League.

This was confirmed after Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday night.

Unai Emery’s Aston Villa, who are also vying for a Champions League spot, went ahead with a goal by Marc Cucurella, but it was unfortunately an own goal. Rogers then extended their lead before halftime.

The draw leaves Aston Villa with 67 points and three matches remaining, while Arsenal, with 77 points, have four fixtures left. Arsenal’s next match is against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
