Taiwo Cole, the husband of actress and comedian Wofai Ewa, has responded to claims that his family disapproved of their marriage.
The well-known Cole family from Victoria Island, Lagos, released a statement on Saturday denying any connection to the traditional marriage between their son and Wofai Ewa. The family stated that they were not aware of the marriage plans and did not give their approval.
Despite this, Taiwo Cole took to Instagram to share photos from his wedding, emphasizing that he had found a good wife and was committed to his decision.
He wrote, “I found a good wife, and there’s no turning back.”
In response to the controversy surrounding her marriage, Wofai posted on her Instagram, saying, “Let love lead.”
