President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has confirmed that the President is currently in Europe and is scheduled to return to Nigeria on Wednesday, May 8.
Onanuga made the announcement on Tuesday via the X platform, putting to rest concerns about Tinubu’s whereabouts.

After attending the World Economic Forum in Riyadh from April 28-29, the President Tinubu expected to return to Nigeria but instead traveled to Europe, sparking speculation about his destination.
While some reports suggested he went to London, the presidency neither confirmed nor denied this.

However, Onanuga’s statement has now clarified that the President and his aides will return to Nigeria tomorrow.
