The Nigerian military has withdrawn its presence from the Okuama community in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, according to an announcement made by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his official Facebook page on Wednesday.

The development comes after the military had taken control of the community following the tragic killing of 17 military personnel on March 14, 2024.
