IYC Elections: ZECO Releases List of Screened Aspirants For Western Zone

The Zonal Electoral Committee (ZECO) has released a list of screened aspirants ahead of the elections of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Western Zone.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the list signed by ZECO Chairman and Secretary, Comrade Emmanuel Akpule and Comrade Icon-James Tam, was released on Friday May 10, 2024 in fulfilment of the body’s electoral guidelines.

The list seen by our correspondent showed that all 25 aspirants who purchased forms were cleared to partake the forthcoming polls.

In a telephone conversation following the release of the list, Comrade Akpule said, “ZECO is committed to conducting flawless elections for Western Zone on June 5.”
