One witness described the scene, saying, “Our entire staff bus was attacked at Okpella. The kidnappers took our staff. My colleague has bullet wounds, and others are still in the bush.”

Michael Odofin, a spokesperson for Okpella Cement Plc, confirmed the attack and abduction, but could not provide further details, citing the freshness of the incident. “We have no one killed,” he assured, but the fate of the abducted workers remains uncertain.
