Manchester City secured a vital 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night, positioning themselves on the brink of clinching their fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Heading into North London, the champions were well aware that any dropped points would hand the advantage to Arsenal in the title race.

The first half concluded without either side finding the back of the net, suggesting a potential setback for City.

However, the second half saw Erling Haaland capitalize on Kevin De Bruyne’s delivery, tapping in his 26th goal of the season.

Haaland extended City’s lead by converting from the penalty spot after Jeremy Doku was fouled in the penalty area.

With this crucial win, Manchester City now have the opportunity to secure the championship on Sunday if they manage to defeat West Ham.
