In a recent Premier League clash, Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min acknowledged the critical save made by Manchester City goalkeeper Stefano Ortega. Son had a prime opportunity late in the game to level the score but was thwarted by Ortega’s decisive stop.

Reflecting on the moment, Son expressed regret for the missed chance, recognizing its potential significance in the title race. The striker also noted the impact on Tottenham’s aspirations for Champions League qualification, as the defeat marked their fifth loss in six games, effectively ending their hopes.

Son took personal responsibility for the missed opportunity, admitting that despite being human, he failed to capitalize on the team’s hard work. He credited Ortega for his excellent decision-making and for making himself a formidable obstacle in goal.
