Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise remains eligible to represent Nigeria at the international level following his exclusion from France’s squad for the 2024 European Championships.

Despite a standout season with Crystal Palace, where the 24-year-old scored 10 goals and provided five assists in just 18 games, Didier Deschamps did not include him in the France squad.

Born in London to a Nigerian father and a French-Algerian mother, Olise is eligible to play for Nigeria, France, and Algeria through his parents, as well as for England due to his birthplace.
