Oritsefemi Claims to Be Godfather to Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido

Nigerian singer Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele, popularly known as Oritsefemi, has claimed to be the godfather of fellow artists Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido. He stated that he had already found success in the music industry before they became famous and encouraged them to pursue music.

In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Oritsefemi said,

“I had already made money [from the music industry] when some people were sleeping [yet to come into limelight].

“Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, so many of them [young artists], I encouraged them. I’m like their godfather.

“Even some female celebrities who are now trolling me on social media, I accommodated them in my mansion in Lekki back in the days. Even Burna Boy, I once accommodated him.”
