Vee Explains Why She Remains Single, Citing Fear of Heartbreak

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Victoria Iye, popularly known as Vee, has opened up about why she remains single.

She shared her fears about being in a romantic relationship, stating she is not ready for heartbreak and is therefore avoiding relationships.

On her X handle, she wrote, “One thing I don’t have time for right now is heartbreak. I’m not in the mood for that at all. No bueno abeg.”

In another post, Vee added, “I’m very good at loving someone from a distance. I won’t fight my feelings, but I won’t fight my sense either.”

She continued, “Born to be a lover girl, forced to deal with love-bombers.”

Vee’s first publicly known relationship was with her fellow Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ housemate, Neo Akpofure. Their relationship began during the show in 2020 but ended shortly after.

During the All-Stars season, Neo claimed Vee had approached him to reconcile, but he declined because she still held grudges against his cousin, Venita Akpofure.

In October last year, Vee revealed that she would give up on love after two more heartbreaks.
