Oyedeji explained that the FRSC promptly responded to the scene, rescuing survivors and transporting them to Kabba General Hospital for medical attention. The deceased have been taken to the hospital’s mortuary.

He attributed the accident to reckless driving, citing speeding and wrongful overtaking as the primary causes.

According to him, despite repeated warnings, drivers continue to disregard road safety rules, leading to devastating consequences.
