Former Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick is set to sign a contract with Barcelona today. Flick will be taking over as head coach on a two-year deal, replacing Xavi Hernandez, who was sacked last week.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed the news on Wednesday morning. Romano wrote on X: “Hansi Flick signs today as new Barcelona head coach on a contract valid until June 2026. It’s all sealed, staff included; an initial meeting to plan the summer transfer window will take place soon.”

A video of Flick having dinner with Barcelona president Joan Laporta surfaced on social media last night.
