UEFA has named Vinícius Júnior of Real Madrid as the Champions League Player of the Season for 2023/2024. The announcement was made by UEFA’s Technical Observer panel on Monday.
Vinícius played a key role in Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the final, scoring the second goal. Throughout the competition, the Brazilian forward netted six goals for the Spanish giants.
After the win over Dortmund, Vinícius expressed his joy, saying, “I’m very happy to win another Champions League with this club, which has given me so much. It’s an incredible thing. Not everyone can experience it and win it so many times.”
