Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, known as Davido, has responded after his colleague Portable accused him of giving bad advice during a recent dinner in the United States.
Portable recently claimed that Davido, who is signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the label and suggested he sign with Empire instead.
The “Zazu” singer alleged that this advice was meant to sabotage his chances of winning a Grammy, which he, like Davido, is aiming for.

In response, Davido unfollowed Portable on Instagram, as confirmed by checking their accounts on Thursday evening.
Portable had previously claimed that some people were trying to create a rift between him and Davido, and despite being urged to fight with Davido, he refused because Davido had helped him in the past.
