PHOTOS: Residents Butcher Giant Whale In Bayelsa

The residents of a community in Bayelsa state have caught a giant whale.

According to informations making rounds online, the giant whale was butchered by the people of Okpoama, a seaside community in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

 

The animal is said to be so big and was said to have been washed up on the beach on Tuesday night, and it’s about 15 meters long and five meters wide at a height of about three meters.

The residents used machetes, hacksaws, and axes to cut the animal to pieces.

Speaking on this incident, an indigene of the area said that the whale was found dead after being out of water throughout the night.
