Nigerian R&B star Temilade Openiyi, known as Tems, has shared insights into what it’s like to be in a romantic relationship with her.
In a recent episode of the ‘Is This Seat Taken’ podcast with actress Chinasa Anukam, the Grammy-winning singer described dating her as “stumbling upon a rare species of flower.”
Tems explained that while her personality might not seem attractive at first glance, it reveals inner beauty upon closer inspection. She added a warning about her complex nature: “Dating me is like stumbling upon a rare species of flower that looks black from the outside and when you open it, it has pink, purple, but in the middle, there’s a stone.”

Tems is not publicly known to be in any romantic relationship. In a recent interview with YouTuber Korty EO, she remarked that most men don’t have any agenda in a relationship other than sex.
