The international lawyers serving as defence counsels to suspected Nigerian alleged fraudster, Ramon Abbas Aka Hushpuppi, have applied to withdraw from his case.
According to the US lawyers; Vicki Podberesky and Gal Pissetzky, Hushpuppi stopped communicating with them and obtained new lawyers to defend him in the case.
Podberesky and Pissetzky filed a motion at the United States District Court in California, to withdraw from representing Hushpuppi as defence lawyers.

Recall that Hushpuppi was arrested in Dubai by security operatives including United Arab Emirates police officers and Federal Bureau Investigation (FBI) operatives in the previous year.
Hushpuppi was allegedly involved in series of cyber fraud and crimes including criminal impersonation, hacking, money laundering and others.
