Big Brother Naija reality star and singer, Hazel Oyeze Onou, known as Whitemoney, shared a story about resisting temptation from a wealthy married woman during his early struggles.
In an interview with Echoo Room, Whitemoney recounted living under a bridge in Ojuelegba, Lagos, when a married woman offered him a blank cheque to sleep with her. Despite his dire situation, he turned her down, staying true to his principles.
“I received a blank cheque from a lady when I was living under Ojuelegba Bridge. I was learning cosmetology at the time. She came into the store, saw me, and gave me her number. We started talking, and she eventually invited me to a hotel, where she presented a blank cheque.
“However, she mistakenly sent me a family picture, showing she had about five boys. She was one of those women whose husbands are rarely around. If she hadn’t sent that picture, I might have considered it. But knowing she was married, I refused. I have a rule: I can never sleep with a married woman,” Whitemoney explained.
