LG Polls: PDP Takes Campaign to Burutu as Takeme Promises Better Deal

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday, took its Campaign to Burutu ahead of the forthcoming Local Government Area elections in Delta State.

The exercise spearheaded by the Burutu Campaign Council led by Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin attracted bigwigs of the party from across boards.

The Burutu PDP Chairman, Ebike Oromoni in his address, assured the people that “the PDP remains the one and only party Deltans can entrust the affairs of Council governornance” and charge the Burutu people to maintain status quo.

Delta State PDP Chairman, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso emphasized the comments by the Burutu Campaign Council Chairman, insisting that “there is no other party that can do it the PDP way”.

Meanwhile, the Burutu PDP flagbearer, Alaowei Julius Takeme thanked the people for their support and large turnout at the event.

The former Commissioner for Urban Renewal, who called to mind his wealth of experience over the years as a politician, pledged to prioritize the economic and developmentmal welfare of Burutu when elected into office.

Highlight of the was the handing over of the PDP flag to Burutu flagbearer by the party’s State Chairman.

The Delta State local government polls are billed for July 13, 2024 across the 25 Council areas in the state.
