Nigerian athlete Tobi Amusan has been given clearance to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, according to DAILY POST.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rejected appeals from World Athletics (WA) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) against the women’s 100-metre hurdles world record holder. CAS agreed with the earlier decision of the World Athletics Disciplinary Tribunal (WADT), which found Amusan innocent of any anti-doping rule violations.

Last year, the 28-year-old was suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) for missing three drug tests within a year. AIU had initially proposed a two-year ban for Amusan, but this decision was overturned, allowing her to participate in the 2023 World Athletics Championships.
