England duo Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice will not face bans from UEFA for their controversial gestures during the Euro 2024 match against Slovakia, the governing body has announced.
Instead, UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against the English Football Association (FA) for crowd disturbances and lighting of fireworks during the match.
Bellingham had appeared to make a lewd gesture towards the Slovakia bench, while Rice was involved in a spat with opposition coach Francesco Calzona.
