A pastor has been apprehended and arraigned before a court of law for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old minor.
According to reports, the pastor, identified as Francis Ogu, 65, was arraigned before the Sexual and Gender-based Violence Offences Court in Awka, Anambra State.

The accused, who was said to have committed the crime in June 27 at HS home was said to have violated the law in Section 35(2) of the 2004 Anambra State Child Right Law.

However, the defendant entered a not guilty plea to the accusation.
The judge, Chief Magistrate Genevieve Osakwe granted the accused N500,000 in bail, with one surety in the same amount, in her decision, and adjourned tgw case until August for hearing.
