The Federal Government has secured a significant diplomatic victory, announcing that Nigerian passport holders can now obtain visas for travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), effective July 15, 2024.

This development was made known by the Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, while addressing State House correspondents after the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Monday.

According to the Minister, the agreement marks a significant milestone in the bilateral relations between Nigeria and the UAE.

The new visa policy is expected to facilitate travel and trade between the two countries, promoting economic growth and cultural exchange.
