Publisher and activist Omoyele Sowore has alleged that the Federal Government purchased an Airbus A330 Presidential Jet worth $100 million.

Sowore shared a photo of the jet on his Instagram page and claimed that it was initially christened VP-CAC and registered as 5N-FGA.

According to Sowore, the jet was configured or reconfigured with an additional $50 million and is ready for delivery.

He expressed outrage that the purchase was not included in the annual budget and that the government could afford to spend $150 million on a private jet while struggling to pay minimum wage to workers and approve funding for education and other essential services.
