The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the 2024 common entrance examination results for Unity schools, with 13 candidates scoring 01.
The Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, made this known during a press briefing on Tuesday.

According to Sununu, a total of 71,291 candidates participated in the examination, with 66,931 present and 4,360 absent. The minister noted that one candidate scored the highest score of 203 out of 210. The admission process will be based on 60% merit as usual.
The results show that Lagos State had the highest number of candidates, with 17,751, followed by FCT with 10,209, and Anambra State with 4,972.
NECO had earlier released data showing the state-by-state breakdown of candidates who sat for the examination.
The release of the results marks an important milestone for the candidates, who are seeking admission into Unity schools across the country.
