Amatoru Congratulates New Head of Civil Service, Didi Esther Walson-Jack

Comrade Peremoboere Amatoru, the National Treasurer of the Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, has extended a heartfelt congratulatory message to Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, on appointment as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation by President Bola Tinubu.

Walson-Jack’s appointment was announced by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale on Wednesday evening.

In a congratulatory message on wedn, Comrade Amatoru praised Mrs. Walson-Jack’s exemplary career and her unwavering dedication to public service.

The youth leader noted that Walson-Jack’s appointment is a testament to her competence, integrity, and commitment to excellence, which have been the hallmarks of her distinguished service in the civil sector.

Amatoru said;

“I extend my warmest congratulations to Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack on her well-deserved appointment as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

“This is not only a personal achievement but also a proud moment for the Ijaw nation. Her appointment reflects her exceptional qualifications and the trust placed in her by President Bola Tinubu.

“I am confident that she will bring her wealth of experience and leadership skills to bear in this crucial role, fostering transparency, efficiency, and growth within the civil service.

“I know that your new role would further enable you to contribute positively to national development and serve as an inspiration to young Ijaw professionals across the country,” Amatoru stated.

Amatoru also commended President Tinubu “for giving room to worthy Niger Deltans to contribute their quota in his Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigerians”.

Mrs. Walson-Jack, who has been honoured with the Order of the Niger (OON), brings a great wealth of experience.

She previously served as served in several Ministries and was appointed Federal Permanent Secretary in 2017.

The new appointee will take over from the incumbent Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR, who is due to retire on August 13, 2024.
