Real Madrid academy product César Palacios has torn his ACL during the team’s pre-season tour in the US. The 19-year-old sustained the injury just five minutes into his first-team debut during the 1-0 loss to AC Milan.
Palacios will now return to Spain for further evaluation, as reported by ESPN.
In the same game, Álvaro Rodríguez also picked up an injury, suffering an ankle sprain. Madrid’s medical staff will decide whether Rodríguez will also return to Spain alongside Palacios.
