Former Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare has passed away at the age of 60, his family announced on Thursday.
In a statement from the League Managers’ Association, the family expressed their pride in his football achievements as both a player and a coach but emphasized that to them, he was first and foremost a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle.
The family also extended their gratitude for the support and prayers received over the past few months, acknowledging that while they could not respond to all, the messages were deeply appreciated by both Craig and his loved ones.

In addition to his role at Leicester, Craig Shakespeare had stints with West Brom, Watford, Hull, Everton, Aston Villa, and Norwich City.
