NLNG Shipping and Marine Services Limited (NSML), a leading player in the Nigerian maritime industry, has announced a vacancy for the position of Third Officer.
NSML seeking highly skilled and experienced individuals to join its team of professionals.
The Third Officer will be responsible for supporting the safe navigation and operation of NSML’s fleet of vessels.
According to it, the successful candidate will be expected to perform various duties, including:

– Assisting the Master and senior officers in navigating the vessel.
– Maintaining safety and security protocols.
– Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of deck equipment.
– Participating in emergency response and drills.
– Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Applicants for the Third Officer position must meet the following requirements:
– Hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate
– Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
– Possess excellent navigation and communication skills
– Be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
– Have a strong commitment to safety and customer service
