The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested the leaders of the recent nationwide protest in Katsina State.

Kabir Shehu Yandaki and Habibu Ruma, the duo leading the “Struggle for Good Governance” protest, were invited to the DSS office in Katsina and subsequently detained.

Another protest leader, Mujittapha Usman, who led the demonstration in Malumfashi Local Government Area (LGA), was also arrested by security forces.
