Team Nigeria’s Rosemary Chukwuma did not advance to the final of the women’s 100m at the 2024 Olympic Games. She struggled in the semi-finals, finishing in last place despite a strong start.

In the men’s shot put final, Chukwuebuka Enekwechi placed fifth with a throw of 21.42m, just missing out on a medal.

USA’s Ryan Crouser won gold with a throw of 22.90m, while his fellow American Joe Kovacs took silver with 22.15m. Jamaica’s Rajindra Campbell also achieved a throw of 22.15m, securing third place.
