Former Watford manager Quique Flores has weighed in on the long-standing debate over whether Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest of all time.

With both players nearing the end of their illustrious careers, Flores shared his perspective during an interview with Diario de Sevilla.

He chose Messi, emphasizing that he has never witnessed a player as exceptional as the Argentine.

Quique Flores explained, “I have a clear idea of my all-time team. Alfredo Di Stéfano is my godfather and one of the greatest, but I didn’t experience his era. I have followed football since Pelé’s final years, and I’ve never seen anyone like Messi.”
