Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has undergone foot surgery, the club confirmed in a statement on Monday.
Yoro, who recently joined United from Lille for an initial fee of £52 million, is expected to be sidelined for three months.
The 18-year-old suffered the injury during a pre-season friendly against Arsenal in the USA. After the match, Yoro was seen on crutches, with his left foot in a protective boot.
