Former Governor of Edo State, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, has described Omoyele Sowore, one of the organizers of the #EndBadGovernance protest, as a defeated politician who cannot speak for Nigerians.
Oshiomhole, during an interview on Arise TV, said Sowore, who is still nursing his defeat from the last presidential election, is not recognized as a leader by Nigerians.

He stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is determined to reclaim Edo State from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“I know Sowore as a defeated presidential candidate. And when you’re defeated in an election, you wait for the man who won the election. Give him time. Sowore cannot be seen as speaking for the people because he is still nursing the pain of his defeat,” Oshiomhole said.
He also stated that there was no need for the protest, adding that President Bola Tinubu was doing everything within his power to solve the economic challenges facing Nigeria. Oshiomhole emphasized that he does not recognize anyone among those who called themselves organizers of the nationwide protest.
