A group of young people from Adamawa State, under the auspices of the Adamawa Youth Campaign Team (AYCT), have called for the recall of Hon Abubakar Baba Zango.
Zango is the current Member representing Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
In a statement signed by the Coordinator of AYCT, Abdulazeez Ahmed Marafa, the group cited several reasons for their demand, including:

– Failure to effectively represent the interests of the constituency
– Lack of accountability and transparency
– Poor performance and unfulfilled campaign promises
– Neglect of constituency projects and developmental initiatives

The group urged the relevant authorities to take their demand seriously, stating that it is time for a change and that they will no longer tolerate poor representation.
They believed that recalling Zango will send a strong message that they deserve better and will no longer be ignored.
AYCT stressed that they are committed to ensuring that their voices were heard and that they will continue to advocate for good governance and accountability from their representatives.
