In Bayelsa State, troops confiscated over 12,000 liters of stolen and illegally refined products along Dasaba Creek in Nembe LGA. Other items recovered include a fiber boat, five ovens, metal drums, and massive reservoirs used for storage.

Maj Gen Jamal Abdussalam, General Officer Commanding 6 Division and Land Component Commander, commended troops for their efforts and urged them to continue denying freedom of action to criminal elements in the NDR.

Abdussalam believed denying freedom of action to criminal elements would ensure pipeline integrity and increase oil production in the region.
