Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has praised newcomer Savinho following his impressive debut for the club.
Savinho, who came on as a second-half substitute in City’s Community Shield victory over Manchester United, caught Guardiola’s eye with his versatility and confidence on the field.
Pep highlighted the young winger’s impact, noting, “He made a strong impression playing on both sides. He’s really good—just look at the goal we scored with the high line and cross. He was not only aggressive inside but also took on defenders with confidence. He did really well.”
